Lake Como
Set in an Idyllic landscape of mountains and rugged hillsides, and shrouded in an almost eerie calm, Lake Como has for centuries attracted visitors who come here for relaxation, inspiration, walks in the hills, or to go boating. The long narrow lake, crafted into a wishbone shape by glacial erosion, offers fine views up to the Alps and down to the prosperous towns of Como and Lecco.

Tour Of Lake Como and Bellagio

With a surface of 146 square kilometers, Lake Como is the third- largest lake in Italy, after Lake Garda and Lake Verbano. Its peculiar shape - a Y turned upside down - is due to its three branches: Colico, the northern branch, Lecco, the south east branch and Como, the south west branch, with a perimeter totalling 170 km.
Upon arrival from Milan, you will enjoy a visit to S. Abbondio Church followed by free time in Como for shopping. At mid day you will take a panoramic cruise on the Lake. Along the shores, in particular from Cernobbio to Gravedona, you will see wonderful villas and gardens with plenty of flowers as well as exotic and rare plants. For instance, Villa d'Este at Cernobbio, which is today a luxurious hotel, has a magnificent garden.
During the shore you will have a stop in Bellagio as well. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Alps in the backdrop to the aqua-blur water of Lake Como. After the shore you will be transferred by ferry to Cadenabbia and then transfer by bus to Como again with a stop at In Como you will have a 1 hour walking tour of the city center and a short free time at leisure for some eventual shopping. At about 17.00 departure to back in Milan.
