ITINERARY


1st Day | Lisbon

Your exclusive tour guide will pick you up at the airport and take on a tour to the famous neighborhood of Belém where you can visit both heritage sites; The Jerónimos monastery and the Tower of Belém. You’ll also admire the Monument of the Discoveries and taste the unique custard tart of Portugal: ‘Pastel de Belém’.

2nd Day | Sintra, Cabo da Roca and Cascais + Sunset Sailing Tour (2 hours)

Visit the charming village of Sintra, located in a Natural Park with castles and grand mansions used as summer houses for the Portuguese royalty. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site and owing to its beauty is one of the most visited sites in Portugal. During this day you will also visit the Pena Palace, An astonishing fairytale 19th century Palace. After the palace we are going to cross the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park heading ‘Cabo da Roca’ the most western point of continental Europe. On the way to Cascais, Guincho Beach is the highlight as is the most beautiful beach in the region. After Cascais, we will take the Marginal Road along the Atlantic Ocean, with sand beaches and 17th century Forts arriving at Lisbon.


Sunset Sailing Tour

At the end of your tour, you will enjoy the sunset as you sail through the city of Lisbon onboard a sailboat on the river Tagus. During the tour, you will get to know Lisbon from a different perspective.

3rd day | Óbidos, Nazaré and Aveiro

This Western Portugal day tour will offer you an unforgettable experience. Discover the typical crafts, the rich gastronomy, the traditions, the aromas and flavours in a unique atmosphere that characterizes this region. Our first stop is going to be at Óbidos a medieval town that is one of Portugal’s most interesting walled settlements. The next destination is Nazaré is a seaside resort with its own charm. It’s Portugal’s most famous fishing village because of the “big wave phenomenon” and it was where the American surfer Garrett McNamara set a new world record in 2011, surfing a 90ft wave. Before to arrive in Porto we will explore Aveiro considered the Venice of Portugal, here you will take a boat trip through the city’s canals.

4th Day | Porto
During this Oporto city tour, we will experience the history and immense charm of the city. W will see the Dom Luis metal bridge, also visit a Port’s Wine Cellar where you are going to have a taste of this amazing and unique sweet Oporto’s wine. The Cruise at the Douro’s River is the opportunity to see the fantastic landscapes on board of a typical local boat called ‘Rabelo’. You will also visit the São Bento railway station the Church and Tower of the Clerics, Church of St. Francis was classified as a National Monument and Unesco World Heritage because of its extraordinary decoration in giltwood carvings. Depending on your interest and pace we strongly advise the visit to Oporto’s Catedral and the Bolsa Palace.
The Cathedral of the city of Porto, located in the heart of the historical center is one of the main and oldest monuments of Portugal.

5th Day | Douro

Explore one of the most beautiful regions of Portugal: The Douro Valley is classified as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Here you will find several vineyards planted on the mountain slopes. Here will make a panoramic tour and see breathtaking landscapes, visit local wineries, and taste the famous Douro wine.

6th Day | Braga e Guimarães

Discover Braga and Guimarães, both classified by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites. Along the day you’ll have the opportunity to see more of the region of Minho by visiting other iconic landmarks between the two cities. The Highlight of the day is going to be the Cinquecentist Guimarães’ center, the Castle of Guimarães, the Ducal Palace This 18th century Palace is in the historical center of Guimarães and is classified as a National Monument. The next city is Bracara Augusta the oldest city in Portugal that played a key role in the development of the Roman occupation in the region. The Braga’s Cathedral and the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte will surprise.

7th Day | Coimbra and Tomar

Discover two of the most famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites, in Portugal: Coimbra and Tomar. Coimbra Known as the city of the students offers centuries of culture and history. Just after Coimbra, we go to Tomar. The Convent of Christ was the headquarters of the Order of Christ is set up in the former Knights Templars headquarters in 1357 where it will remain for centuries. Regarded as one of the greatest monastic complexes in Europe was classified by UNESCO as a world heritage site in 1983.

8th Day | Marvão, Elvas e Vila viçosa

On the first day in the Alentejo Area, we will visit Marvão considered one of the most spectacular walled villages in the country. Elvas is the next stop, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Elvas houses the World’s largest collection of bulwark fortifications and other military buildings as well as churches and monasteries of unique beauty. To finish the day we are going to explore Vila Viçosa a hidden gem is full of history and cultural interest.

9th Day | Évora and Monsaraz

The second day in Alentejo is to explore Evora and surroundings. Is classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage site since 1986. There we can’t miss the San Francisco’s Church the Bones Chapel, the Évora’s Roman Temple (World Heritage Site by UNESCO), and the Évora’s Cathedral.
After Evora, we go to S. Pedro do Corval an Alentejo small village widely known for its handmade pottery and to Monsaraz a Medieval village conquered by the Moors in the 12th century.
During this enriching day, we also visit a local vineyard and winery and at the end have a wine tasting with local ‘tapas’ such as cheese, sausage, olives, and bread. Another pearl is the visit to Store and cork factory, Cork is plant material, 100% natural, from the bark of the cork oak.

10th Day | Drop off at Lisbon's airport
